May Progress

Oh my word how cold it has turned today.  The fire is on and the 'boys' are making the most of it.  The both love the fire and the warmth it brings.  As do I!

It is a long weekend here and I am making the most if it.  Happy Birthday to the Queen.  So my Queens Birthday stitching is going like this..... some finishes.... SKoW, My Favourite Things Quilt....

 

So that is where I am at with my blocks right now.  I have fabrics, pattern book and light box on the dining room table as I write tracing off and cutting more to stitch while I watch a bit of tv in the evenings.  I am really hoping to catch up this month.  Famous last words eh???

I also made this little pillow as part of Anna's birthday present.....  it is not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but it is cute!

Anna misses Zues quite a bit so I thought this wee pillow might help her a bit.  My first prairie points!

Well to all of those enjoying a break over the weekend, I hope you all have some stitchy time to fill in the days.
