In the heat of Summer

Well, where to start....

It's been hot. Very hot. Can't believe that we still have the two hottest months yet to come, I can see some pretty tired and grumpy people coming out of this. Roll on some rain I say. The ground is very dry and grass is not longer green.

I have been doing a wee bit of stitching though, have finished Scatter Christmas

I might do some more of this series, I really enjoyed stitching this chart. The photo does it no justice really, the fabric is green and is really very pretty.

I also finished this piece a bit before Christmas and have not yet popped into my blog...

A Pine Mountain design piece.

The new piece I have started is this.....

Glad Tidings from Shepherd's Bush. And this is where I am at with it.....

So I am ticking away nicely and trying to put in a few stitches each night no matter how tired I might feel. I know I feel better for doing something.

Have a great week everyone, stay cool, dry and warm where ever you might be.

It's been a scorcher down here too, although I think the weather report tonight said the North Island is in for a few showers on Tuesday and Wednesday. Hope it cools things down a bit.

Love your Christmas finishes and your new SB start.

How lovely to see your current projects! Hope they're keeping your mind off just how hot it is there. :D Have a glass of iced tea and I'll brew some hot tea and we'll both enjoy the day. :D

Great start on Glad Tidings, and well done on your other two finishes. It's nice to see them complete.

It's been hot over the Tasman too, Kath. We've been sweltering these past few days, but today was slightly better. A nice cool breeze tonight also makes it more comfortable. Take care and keep cool!
